Victoria Jubilee Town Hall popularly known as VJT Hall Trivandrum is the most preferred venue for cultural and renaissance events, is located at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. It was built in connection with the celebration of the golden jubilee of the coronation of Queen Victoria. This historical building was inaugurated by Sree Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma on January 25, 1896. Many historical events were held in VJT hall. Still, VJT hall is the first choice for any public events in Thiruvananthapuram.
When we look into the history of VJT Hall Trivandrum, we can see that a number of prominent events were staged in the VJT Hall. ‘Ningal Enne Communistakki’, the famous socio-political play was first staged in VJT hall. The famous Kerala art Kathakali will be conducted in the VJT hall every month by the Trivandrum Kathakali club.
The VJT Hall Trivandrum is running under the management of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Now the hall is mostly used rented for commercial, trade expos and craft exhibitions and sale.The national leaders, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, have all addressed public meetings here.

It is not easy to summarise the list of programs conducted in VJT Hall Trivandrum in a single stretch.
VJT hall is the first and foremost choice for the people in Thiruvananthapuram for hosting their events. The only reason is the infrastructure beauty of VJT hall. Even though the building is 100 years old one, it still keeps its glory at its height with the art of the colonial era.
