It is a very supportive thing to the candidates for the preparation of the second NATA examination of 2019.
In spite of the fact that the second examination, according to the Nata 2019 registration notification will not help the candidates those who are looking for admission to merit seat. It is only a chance for the candidate which helps them to become eligible for architecture admission in India by qualifying NATA examination. After qualifying the second examination as per the notification for NATA 2019 registration, a candidate can choose the management seat offered by an architecture college itself. Such candidates are forced to follow the special terms and conditions structured by an architecture college itself for their management seats.
Certain examples for the above said terms and conditions are listed below
- The course fee:-It varies from colleges to college all over India, 150000 to 400000. Most of the colleges demand donations and other deposits at the time of admission. Suppose, a student got qualified in the second NATA examination of this year have to spend minimum 10,00,000 during the course period. It varies up to 25,00,000, depends upon the tuition fee, donation, study material, facilities, etc offered by the college
- Screening process:- Certain colleges conduct an additional aptitude test for selecting the best / more talented NATA qualified candidates among the applicants. Written and studio assessments, face to face interview, group discussion, portfolio submission, etc are the common formats adopted by the architectural college for the screening process.
- Academic sessions:- An academic semester of B-Arch course is needed the duration of six months for completing the theory, practical, field visits, examination, study holiday, vacation, etc. It is obvious that a B-arch student is getting effectively four months only for their classroom studies in a semester. The classes for the first-semester B-Arch for the students those who got admission in merit seats will commence probably before the end of June every year. The date mentioned in the NATA 2019 registration notification for 2nd examination is 7th July 2019. Usually, the announcement of result takes at least two weeks after the examinations. It may be in the last week of July 2019. The admission procedure takes one-week again after the result published. Probably in the first week of August 2019. So the candidates qualified in the second NATA examination have to sacrifice at least one month. That is 25% of their effective classroom studies.
So candidates those who are seeking admission to B Arch course in India are advised to score maximum in the first NATA examination scheduled on 14th April of this year.
